Devin Hatch has been an OT since 2010 and is currently working in an adult neuro outpatient setting in Spokane Washington. His, his wife and their three kids have lived there since 2015. It is in Washington that he started working with stroke recovery and became a Certified Stroke Rehab Specialist (CSRS). His journey to OT started in his hometown St. George, UT at a career day event where he heard someone talk about OT and he was hooked. He attended undergrad at the University of Utah (Links to an external site.) for one semester before transferring to Southern Utah University (Links to an external site.). RHS introduced him to Tour University (Links to an external site.), Nevada's OT program, which was fairly new at the time. He applied and a few months later was accepted and was part of their 5th graduating class. He absolutely loves Occupational Therapy and looks forward to each challenge a new patient brings. His philosophy in OT is that if he is bored it is because he is being boring and not pushing himself to find new ways to help his patients. He is currently in the process of getting a practice of his own up and running doing outdoor pediatric treatments.
