Biography- Tania Oliveira, BSN

Tania Oliveira is a native Brazilian who speaks 3 languages and who has lived in the states most of her life. She received her nursing degree from Brigham Young UniversityLinks to an external site., she double majored in nursing and exercise science.  She has had a myriad of nursing jobs including Medical Surgical, Med-oncology, ICU, and ER.  She currently is a case manager nurse in Midvale Utah at a community clinic.  She helps patients who are mostly uninsured and have bad health protectories to be able to clean up their life and their health in order to stay out of the hospital.  Tania loves her job and finds it very rewarding, she plans to purse a 3 year degree to become a provider and get her DNP (doctor of nurse practice).

Biography- Evan Christensen, BSN, MBA- CEO

Evan Christensen was born and raised in Payson, Utah. After high school he went on to work in the construction field as a laborer and pipe layer. After several years in construction he returned to school where he obtained his LPN at Sevier Valley Applied TechLinks to an external site. and Registered Nurse from Utah Valley UniversityLinks to an external site.. As an RN in many areas of healthcare, his favorite was ICU and ER. During this time, he earned his BS degree in Healthcare Administration from Weber State UniversityLinks to an external site.. He then became the Trauma Coordinator and manager of an ICU and Orthopedic unit. From 2008 to 2016 he worked at Sevier Valley HospitalLinks to an external site. as the Quality and Patient Relations Manager. In 2015 he earned an MBA with a healthcare endorsement from Western Governors UniversityLinks to an external site.. He is currently the CEO and Executive director of Wayne County's community health departmentLinks to an external site. and manages the managers of many individual programs. Evan and his wife Raelyn have lived in Salina, Utah for the past 22 years. He has 4 children and 7 grandchildren. He has coached numerous youth and high school sports. He enjoys time with his family more than anything else. He also enjoys hunting, camping, fishing, and 4-wheeler riding. He loves central Utah and the great outdoors and enjoys working with and being part of the rural communities.
